Our Lady of Providence is a private High School in Clarksville, Indiana right across the Ohio River from Louisville, KY. They just had a hard time finding a game and only played 8 games in 1995 and one playoff. I was looking at the BSG P-Nut teams in the local paper earlier. I counted 121 kids spread over 4 teams. Granted, those kids are from both Appy and BSG, but solid numbers none the less.

When someone is used to mark time, they are usually pretty special at what they do. Athletics as a whole in Galax are defined by Pre-Dixon and Post-Dixon! I will let others research the lack of athletic achievement prior to his arrival in 2010 compared to what has been accomplished since his arrival. And it's not just centered around football!

Dixon is the best coach in our area in my opinion. I stress my opinion. Lol.

Da Blues - 35 GC - 7 It should be fun watching Race and his receivers throwing ball all over the field. They have some young guys that will be exciting to watch. I hope they are able to get some semblance of a running game to go along with that. They have some tall kids which if I'm not mistaken, I heard Rocky mention on the radio broadcast last week as being, "15 kids at least 6'2" or taller" with a receiver that is 6"5", but the o-line doesn't have the beef that the blues are use to having which will hurt the blues in the running game against some of the teams they will be playing. But the line will get better and are athletic, but they are going to rely on Race throwing and the band of receivers catching the ball for the most part. . The D got pushed around a little at times last week which is a little worring especially when they get into the tough part of the schedule...........which doesn't take long, like in week 2 against Union ! But they are well coached and have some talent and will improve, but they do play a tough schedule again this year. I'm a "homer" and trust Mance and his staff to get the best out of these kids. They have a good looking future with some of the freshman and Sophs. they have on the team. Going to be fun watching them grow and watch the air raid this year. I can see why Chilhowie was ranked first. Last season they made it the farthest and return a lot. Would Ridgeview and Union beat Chilhowie? Probably. Relax. It’s only preseason. There will certainly be some changes to the top 5 as the season progresses.

I couldn't remember what it was, but I knew it wasn't 17-0. I listened to it on the radio and GC kept it close for quite a while.

Don't get me wrong because I think Chilhowie is a really good team. They'll beat my Canes going away on Friday. And let me start by saying this is not a criticism but a genuine observation. IMHO, there is something missing about this team (and last year's) that I can't quite identify. When I think of really good CHS teams from the past (1970, 1971, 1980, 1981, 1996, 2001, 2008, and 2010), I don't see this team on the same level. The experience, talent, speed, and athleticism all seem to be there. They're not big but neither were the great teams from the past. I don't know if it's a lack of execution, physicality, mental toughness, energy... It just doesn't seem like the hard-nosed Warrior teams I'm used to seeing over the years.

It’s now owned by an Italian company, Fiat. Obama’s campaign contributors at Solyndra were handed 535 million dollars of taxpayer money that the Obama Administration knew they would never be able to pay back before they gave it to them. The IRS targeted Obama’s political enemies including Christian groups, pro-Israel groups, and most prominently, Tea Party groups. The Obama Administration had refused to cooperate with the investigation or hold anyone accountable for the illegal behavior. Numerous donors to Mitt Romney were audited by the IRS after giving him large contributions. Obama took 700 billion dollars out of Medicare to put into Obamacare. Instead of calming people down, Obama helped to turn Americans against each other racially be inserting himself into the Trayvon Martin case. Obama created so much racial animosity by attacking the police when they had done nothing wrong in the Henry Louis Gates case that he had to have a ridiculous “beer summit” to try to undo the damage. The Department of Justice failed to pursue a voter intimidation case against members of the New Black Panthers because they were black and liberal. Former DOJ official J Christian Adams quit over the case and “accused his former employer of instructing attorneys in the civil rights division to ignore cases that involve black defendants and white victims.” Despite the fact that Barack Obama claimed to believe that marriage should be between one man and one woman when he was running for President in 2008, his Department of Justice asked states attorney general to refuse to defend their states’ bans on gay marriage in court. He released 5 Taliban terrorists In exchange for deserter Bowe Bergdahl. I could go on but won’t. I will say that the only politician to not take an IPO would probably be Rand Paul Senator Kentucky
