    Tazewell V Grundy

Maybe Tazewell needs to start a petition to fix the offensive issues 😂 https://www.change.org/p/hold-rrhs-football-offensive-coordinator-accountable-for-mismanagement-and-lack-of-respect?recruiter=91632040&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=psf_combo_share_initial&utm_term=psf_combo_share_initial&recruited_by_id=dd3bc790-d3e9-11e3-9b4e-47bb9cd5c2f8&share_bandit_exp=initial-37512649-en-US&utm_content=fht-37512649-en-us:8&mibextid=9R9pXO

  6. Don’t forget 2012 against Stuarts Draft. How many onside or squibs did Stuarts Draft recover? It is way too early to think about state anyway.

  7. Bluefield MS has talent. Graham had a couple of dropped passes in the end zone but Bluefield won handily. I’m not sure how many on either team are hold backs but both played pretty well even though Graham lost. It will be interesting the next few years in the Bluefields!

I know what Wicks did do. He had one of the hardest hits ever delivered by another human at the High School level. The lick was a legal hit and a fair hit, but it was so vicious I felt "dirty" watching it. https://www.google.com/search?q=Shane+Wicks+hit&rlz=1C1GCEA_enUS1076US1076&oq=Shane+Wicks+hit&aqs=chrome..69i57.2750j0j15&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:f45f5567,vid:eI0-v93Q7Fw,st:0

  9. Liam, however good Graham's is, then you will want to see Bluefield's. From what I told, Bluefield's Middle School took Graham apart a week or 2 ago. I don't know if this was 7th or 8th grade, etc, but Bluefield supposedly gave the GMEN middle schoolers their first loss in junior high in a while. But, don't quote me on that. I didn't see the game, and the info I got is from a Bluefield Beaver diehard fan I still play racquetball with occasionally.

Coaches need to get the players energy up. Start by replacing the starters that make negative comments maybe attitudes will change.

I seen the play from the 45 yard line visitors bleachers and I don't think he ever had possession of it! I don't expect the officiating to be perfect and I think the call would have been okay either way! They don't have the benefit of replay and have to make a judgement call! I got some funny looks from my hometown fans for GC but I don't think he ever caught the ball!

  17. I was at the fence too lol and I thought he had just gained possession. But it’s a bang bang play and I wouldn’t have been mad either way. Very tough play to call.

    Tazewell V Grundy

Tazewell has won the last three in this one and holds a 42-31-2 advantage in a series that dates back to 1928. This will be the 76th meeting.

  19. Tazewell needs to work on sealing the edge. Teams have been successful running to the outside against them. Offensively, they should be able to score on Grundy, just got to tighten up the defense a little. Princeton is a very, very good team this year. A lopsided loss to Princeton, should not discourage the Dogs. Lot of football left to play this season.

And the bye week should be exclusively kicker tryouts. We gotta be able to make PATs and the occasional 20 yard FG if they truly have aspirations to win the region or more.
