I thought Honaker graduated more 2 years ago than they did last year as far as contributors go.  They are loaded again.

I could have worded that better and included depth as part of that 185-235 class kids.  Its like they have 50 of them and they are all very similar in build and strength, where as most teams are lucky to have 5-10 kids built similarly in 1A with maybe 30 kids rostered.

I know of a lot of schools that just make them up lol. Nothing like seeing an article that says a kid averages 30 points and 14 rebounds a game or some craziness like that. 

There was a Clinch Valley District from 1970-78. Original members were Castlewood, Cleveland, Council, Garden, Honaker, Hurley, Lebanon, Pocahontas, St. Paul, Twin Springs, and Whitewood. Haysi joined in 1972 and Cleveland closed around that time. Twin Springs left a few years later. In 1978 Honaker, Castlewood, and Lebanon left for the Hogoheegee and the remaining schools became the Black Diamond.

The only bad thing about Go-Fan is when the cell signal gets jammed. If there’s a good crowd at Mitchell there may be trouble getting in. 
 
I went to Hoover-Thompson game last year in Alabama, which was a Go-Fan only event, and there were 15k+ to show up. Everyone’s cell signal was jammed and it was a huge mess trying to get in the game. Folks had to keep getting out of line because they couldn’t get their tickets to load.
Go-Fan should adopt a way to have their tickets offline. Adding them to your apple wallet would make a lot more sense.

The Galax Maroon Tide golf team has accepted an invitation to the PGA of America High School National Invitational in Frisco, TX July 17-19, 2023.
Jake Albert of Blacksburg won medalist honors at this event in 2022 at Pinehurst Resort as a freshman with a 54 hole score of -10 under par. 

Brody is fine and has already had successful surgery to repair a compound fracture of the tibia!  No ligament damage, and his team definitely played for him tonight.  Proud of the Cats!
 

My analysis of the game so far. The tiny orange specks move faster than the tiny white ones. 

It looked bad wouldn’t let him turn over put him in an air cast probably broke. Leg hopefully he can recover for baseball season
