I love the fact we can all jab at each other....and at the end of the day, no one has hurt feelings besides a select few on here.... On to my predition....RV 27 Union 21 I'm hesitant to talk smack, it's well known the talent Union has....and IMO ridgeview is much better than last year. It will be a game to see.. Anyone heard if they will be moving it to thursday?

Games are being moved up. Some games are Thursday. One is Wednesday. I will leave the pick'em open until 7pm on Friday. But any picks made AFTER a game is played will not count for that game. So I HIGHLY suggest getting your picks in by Thursday morning at the absolute latest.

Just like when they played Richlands....?

The Army Corp of Engineers straightened and deepened Chestnut Creek through Galax many years ago. The end result helped create Felts Park. I can't recall it ever flooding outside of its stream banks. The dozens of small little tributaries feeding into Chestnut Creek are a very different story. Most have been, at least in part, piped and covered up over the past 50 to 60 years. They flood with a minimal amount of rainfall. When we get heavy rains, they blanket much of the area with up to a foot of water. I've never seen it get as bad as what we had Saturday though. But 6 inches of rain in 3 hours isn't really something anyone can prepare for either.

I dont know of a better team coming up thru the ranks that Chilhowie team. 8th grade on they have been dominant. I watched them play as 8th graders - dominant. I think they win by 20 points or more. They have the players & coaching to do it. I think they will be undefeated when they play my rebels. I also think my rebels will be undefeated at that point too. Both should be in the Super 7 then and it will be exciting. Go REBELS!

I have watched some of the rain forecast for Friday for our area 3-7 inches of rain if it follows its path, any chance of moving the game to Thursday? The Eastern shore is talking about moving them up or postponing them!
