Well, I got me a little flask just in case it gets to cold, or we lose, or now that I think about, if we win, the flask will be empty by the end of the fourth. I'm more worried about a pat down. Real men don't carry their flasks in a bag, they carry their flasks in their groin in order not to be caught at the gate, and in order to not have to share with anyone else.

Point taken, absolutely not every fan. My apologies for lumping all fans together. It's a shame the disgruntled were most vocal. I even had people that I know personally and are friends with on FB who for all practical purposes are good, rational folks , post crazy ridiculousness. To be honest, every team has "those" types of fans.

Polier from Union. If I misspelled his name I apologize. Raley and Wimmer from Graham. Richlands will return a 220 that should do well. Graham will have several from football to wrestle. The two mentioned above are the only two that start in football that will be wrestling. Although there are several from the team that will be wrestling. I'd love to see the Kastner kid from Graham wrestle. He has what it takes. I'm sure basketball will get several of them.

Ehhh, I disagree. It's more like 6-7 seasons but it won't take that long to see some major improvement so it won't be n issue.

From GHS Twitter Page: Ms. Sheets and Ms. Oxford will be taking a pep bus to the state championship game in Salem on Saturday. Any student wishing to ride the bus needs to sign up in the office window by Wednesday. The cost is $15 which includes the ticket to the game. Payment must be made by Thursday.

It’s definitely easy to see he’s a great coach. He stopped us after our game against them in the regular season finale, and told my kid that he was looking forward to the chance to get to coach him.

No head coaching experience but I'm ok with the hire. I still think Reed deserved it but some on here have said he didn't want it. I don't know why he's apply though if he didn't want it. I do hope he stays on the staff though. JH should be able to get some interest back in football at GC and make them relevant again in the near future.

Was there last year. They Did search bags, but they didn't do a patdown. I'm bringing my airhorns (3 of them) and they will go at the bend of my lower back tucked into my belt and hidden by my coat. If they catch me, then oh well, but I'm going to make the attempt at bringing them in regardless.

Correct Disibbio wore #35 and he joined Graham's staff last year. He and Dews were Sophomores during the '95 season. So was Charlie Tynes and I'm not sure how much he got to play that year because of all the other talent they had. Set up nicely for them as seniors in '97 to go 14-0 and win Bluefield's first AA title that season. I had the same thought after the semi-final games when I saw we were going to play the 16 seed. I was at City Park hanging out with friends and turned to my cousin and said: "Man, we got this!" I'm pulling for Graham to bring home a state football championship to Bluefield VA. Agree with your post, Edwards playing LB, allows Reed to just play offense which makes him lots better because I don't believe he is in shape to play both ways! Edwards, a true diamond in the rough, more vocal than others and what this team needed! Likewise, never seen a Graham team improve as much as this team and seemed to more focused and enjoying the moment. The coaches have done a fantastic job of coaching!

With the exception of the Bluefield game that was the best crowd all year for Graham. Good to see! It appeared Radford's game plan was to double Lester all night and make the connection between he and Allen difficult. Good play calling and execution proved we are more than Cam Allen and Lester. Reed and Booker established the run to set the tone on the opening drive. Dales, Shinault, and Justice all contributed on the receiving end. Some of those passes Cam made were very impressive. I really don't know how to put into words just how good he is. With all that being said. Regardless of the outcome this next game this Graham team for me has been very fun to watch. Where this group started at the beginning of the year and how they are playing now is remarkable. For some this will be their last week of practice and their last game together. Enjoy it! One more game. Go Graham!

Without a doubt Graham and Cam Allen played the best game they have played all year, Allen throwing TD passes to four different receivers, almost unheard of in high school, plus with addition of Edwards and Riley the defense is playing very good. Next weeks opponent, Goochland will be a very tough team to beat, good size, speed, well coached, undefeated, and went on the road and won in their semi-final game! Graham had a very lively crowd against Radford and will need the same support next week in Salem!
