Coach Carlock used to blow his air horn in the locker room when we had 2 minutes to get on the field for practice. You didn't want to be late for stretching lines or anything else for that matter.

Someone mentioned to me Graham will at least go to state because every team Union loses to usually wins state or at least makes it. I know Graham won last year and Appomattox twice for sure and I think glenvar and Clarke co. made it to state not sure about them though, so your welcome Graham.

Central has improved as the season has progressed. They have 3 running backs that are capable of breaking a big run at any point and time. Crabtree and Bolling both are special backs and a key to Centrals success. Not sure of the other kids name that plays RB, but he is a hard nosed kid that runs downhill as well. The passing game is not the best I have ever seen, but can't produce a few plays here and there. As much as I would like to see Central win, I think experience steps in and leads Graham to the win. Central is young, and has made a statement this year, and will be a very exciting team to watch for the next few years. With that being said I am gonna go with Graham 35 Central 20. Good Luck to both teams, and I hope and pray its a clean, injury free ball game!

Good for him!!! Didn't somebody say he was also visiting Ohio State this past Saturday? It's great to have several offers. If I were him, I'd commit before next season starts. That way no distraction of where to go & no pressure to put up 3000 yards to impress another university but that's just me. He's a junior, right?

Graham hasn’t allowed anyone since first Union game to put up those kinds of points. I’m not saying Central cannot do it but it would surprise me if they put up 35 against Graham if Graham’s defense plays like they did against Union Friday night.

Your right about the juniors and seniors thing for sure. Spears was by far the best QB we had and he didn't even play there until his Sr. season when we all knew he was better.

I must be hard of hearing i stand near the fence at games and I can hear the horn but it's not as loud as everyone is making it out to be. I can still hear the guy next to me talking. The ones who should be complaining are the ones who have to sit next to him.

I'm no fan of Ohio State but I'll cheer on Adkins if he goes there, lol. Gotta support our SWVA boys. Heck, I'm cheering for Purdue and VT these days.

The school is literally built on top of a Walmart (among many other shops/restaurants). If you're in the parking lot walking into the Walmart -- you can look above the roof and see the scoreboard for Central's field. So they get that nickname quite often. You'll also hear them made fun of because (I believe) their school is technically built in Norton and not Wise. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that part.

Central wins this one 35-34. Graham commits costly turnovers and Central takes advantage. Central controls the clock by long drives. Central qb has a big day thru the air and on the ground. Should be a great game.

1st things 1st...I want to thank whoever posted the video!!!! THIS IS GREAT STUFF, I LOVE THE TRAIN HORN!!!! But on this play with the video is showing...its nothing to do with the horn being LOUD during the play.. The offense is taking the time to see if the coach wants to audible out of the play after he see how the defense set up.

The county has to pay for all the usage at Mitchell. One of the biggest reasons people want Graham to have their own stadium. On another side note, I have been told that city of Bluefield also charges for parking. The way they collect this is by taking $.50 of each ticket sold

It’s not quite that bad (for UVA). But it is about that bad for Central. The M7 crew’s going to have a rude awakening on Saturday, if last Friday didn’t do the trick.

I’m a Graham fan and former player. My brother played for Graham in the early 90’s. I remember as a kid watching my brother play and hearing air horns and cowbells Coming from Graham fans the entire game. Yeah I hate the train horn Union has but if there isn’t any rules against using it, then I simply just chalk it up to home field advantage. If we would have beat Union in the regular season maybe it wouldn’t have even been an issue for the playoff game. Congratulations to Union on another successful season. GO GMEN

I think Ridgeview made a mistake by not making James Colley the head coach at the new school. We battle him year in year out at Honaker. When we played them I could not stand him . But he was one heck of a coach. and I respected him as a coach..

I don’t know about this train horn. But these are high school kids. You don’t put 80 points on a high school team just for blowing a train horn. That is when things begin to get really chippy between both teams. You ought to know better than that. You are the only Graham fan on here complaining about it from the looks of things. You don’t help the reputation of your community or your fan base with this vitriol. It’s pretty bad when other Graham fans are telling you to stuff it. Palmer obviously has more class than you. Like I told Mr @Gridiron60 (much respect BTW)Graham fans have been great and a class act except for this one. A lot of camaraderie between Graham and Union over the video last year, horns this year and playoff games we've had. All in good fun. This guy missed the boat.
